| Special Requirements: | Units taken depend on language chosen and initial level of proficiency. Language units must be taken sequentially and Part I units (or equivalent language proficiency) are prerequisite for subsequent units. |

| Professional Recognition: | Advanced-level students may sit for the National Accreditation Authority for Translation and Interpreters (NAATI) Exam, the formal qualification required for translation work. |
