Postgraduate Diploma in Tourism

Course Code: P1055

This course aims to provide graduates with a wide understanding of travel and tourism, the tourism industry and the communities affected by tourism. This includes sustainable tourism, indigenous and cultural tourism, and the nature of tourism in Australia, Asia and other major regions of the globe. The course is ideal for career development for those in government and industry who need to work with the tourism industry.

Duration:1 year full-time or part-time equivalent. Commencing Semester 1 only
Availability: Murdoch campus (internal)
Some units may also be available in the following locations and attendance modes:
Murdoch campus (external) (all but one unit)
Restriction:All postgraduate courses are subject to restriction.
Employment Prospects:Policy, planning and impacts (especially social and political), heritage, desert, regional and community tourism, backpackers, wildlife tourism, tourism modelling and partnerships.
