Changing Modes of Governance in Asia
Semester 1
4 points
In 2009, the internationally renowned Asia Research Centre at Murdoch University is running a special topic in Changing Modes of Governance in Asia. This is linked to the Centre’s flagship research programme of projects on this topic. These projects examine change, or pressures building for change, in political, economic, social, environmental and security governance in the region. Students will engage directly with this programme, via a series of special lectures delivered by Centre researchers and their international collaborators, in a dedicated unit exploring the implications of new modes of governance for Asian politics, for Asia’s poor, and for Australia’s engagement with Asia. |
